File Transfer & Calibre
How to upload e-books to the device and integrate with Calibre.
Upload new e-books to the device. When you enter this screen, a WiFi selection dialog appears and the X4 starts hosting a web server.
Beyond browser uploads, WebDAV is also supported, so you can transfer files directly from your file manager. See the web server guide for the full configuration.
You can also directly download books stored on the SD card from the web UI, which is useful for moving books to other devices. (v1.2.0+)
CrossPoint supports wireless transfer via the Calibre device plugin. Install the plugin first per the Calibre plugin chapter below.
- Once the plugin is installed in Calibre, the CrossPoint Reader is auto-detected.
- On the device: File Transfer → Connect to Calibre → Join network
- Make sure your computer and the device are on the same WiFi network.
- Click "Send to device" in Calibre and the EPUB/TXT files are sent to the device's
/books/folder.
